The first step is to send the known characteristics of your diamond, along with photos, to Diamantaires OG. A free appointment will then be offered to you.

During this appointment, our expert team will offer you a free appraisal to estimate the various characteristics of your diamond and therefore its value. This appraisal aims to evaluate several aspects of the diamond:

• The origin and quality of the diamond;
• The 4Cs (those well-known characteristics included in the diamond certificate): weight (carat); color (from yellow to white, with white having greater value); cut (proportion, polish, and symmetry); and clarity (based on inclusions within the diamond);
• The market value of the diamond.

The expertise of our gemologists guarantees a realistic estimate of your diamond's value. Thus, at the end of this appraisal appointment, you will receive a purchase price for your diamond. This price is set in accordance with the Rapaport Diamond Report, which lists the international diamond market price every Friday.
