Van Cleef & Arpels was founded in the late 1890s by the daughter of a gemstone merchant (Estelle Arpels) and the son of a diamond merchant (Alfred Van Cleef). In 1906, the House moved to 22 Place Vendôme: the start of a long history marked by technical innovations and unique collections.
